Make a routine you can return to
Choose a realistic plan and make missed days easy to recover from.
Begin with your actual week
Choose a plan that fits the time, equipment and experience you have today. For healthy adults, general guidance includes strengthening the major muscle groups on at least two days each week. You can build toward that from your starting point.
Keep the next session achievable
Put sessions on days you can usually protect. If a day becomes busy, move the session or choose a shorter workout. There is no need to squeeze several missed sessions into one day.
Repeat a week when useful and review your log before changing the plan. Regular practice matters more than making the schedule complicated. Adjust duration, repetitions or resistance gradually as your confidence grows.
